    Unit Specific Information
  • Responsible for assessing patient needs, planning & coordinating interventions & consultations.
  • Procedures & treatments are provided in the ED including/not limited to; moderate & deep sedation, US, intubation, cardioversion, D&C's, sexual assault exams, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and imminent deliveries.
  • Patient population and diagnoses include trauma, acute stroke, STEMI, psychosis/psychological emergencies, and sepsis.
  • Patients frequently present with alcohol/drug abuse history or complex medical history.

  • A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
  • Must be presented on first day to obtain OHSU ID badge.
