  • Job Overview: The 12A Neonatal ICU (NICU formerly DNCC) is a 46 bed level III neonatal intensive care unit with a patient population of critically ill, convalescing and growing premature and term newborns. Admissions come from our own high-risk perinatal department as well as transports from other hospitals in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Hawaii.
  • Our primary mission is to provide family-centered care for our fragile patients and their families.
  • We have specialists available in endocrine, pulmonary, genetics, renal, metabolic, ophthalmology, neurology, general pediatric surgery as well as cardiothoracic surgery.
  • OHSU is a teaching hospital and our nurses participate in the education of both students and pediatric residents.
