- The function of the Radiologic Technologist position within the Department of Diagnostic Imaging is to perform all phases of technical diagnostic imaging.
- Radiologic Technologists operate X-Ray equipment used to capture and develop images for the purpose of medical diagnosis.
- This position helps to create a collaborative environment by integrating education, research, and clinical leadership.
- Radiologic Technologists work with infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Provides quality images with accuracy and efficiency, utilizing optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment.
- Job Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program that meets current qualifications to take and pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) board examinations in Radiography upon hire.
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience; Academic Medical Center experience preferred.
- Must be OBMI licensed.
- ARRT eligible upon hire and ARRT registered within 6 months of hire date.
- Must have current approved BLS card.
