Position Details:
Position: Full-time Mobile Officer
Site: HRM
Payrate: $17.55
Schedule: 4-Day On, 4-Day Off; 2000-0700Hrs
Key Responsibilities:
- Making accurate reports and memos regarding all incidents
- Mobile surveillance
- Completing site inspections following alarm response, constant use of Track Tik tour confirmation system during every shift.
- Perform unlock and lock ups of various premises
- Responding professionally to requests from Client Service Managers and Field Managers on a regular basis
- Responding professionally to requests from potential new clients
- Monitoring situations, cameras, property and events as per Site Post Orders
- Sustain effective relationships with Paladin Management Team.
- Maintain clean fleet vehicles and ensure cars do not run low on fuel
- Key Inventory
- Patrol specific areas via Paladin Patrol vehicle, responding promptly to calls for assistance, escorts.
- Patrol specific areas on foot.
- Relay complaints and incident information to Paladin Management
- Complete inspections of clients buildings, properties to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Photograph potential incidents, accident scenes.
- Perform healthcare night coverages as assigned
Prerequisites:
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License with minimum of 5 years driving experience
- Ability to provide Drivers Abstract for the past three years
- Ability to obtain Security License for the province of Nova Scotia
- Valid Intermediate First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a CSA-approved vendor)
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
