Key Accountabilities:
- Develops and maintains strong, professional relationships with clients in the assigned portfolio.
- Collaborates with the People and Culture team to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet contractual obligations.
- Conducts interviews and meets with all new Mobile Security Officers being considered for deployment within the portfolio.
- Ensures all Mobile Security Officers receive appropriate training in line with industry standards, company policies, and client requirements.
- Provides ongoing coaching, including motivational and disciplinary conversations, to Mobile Security Officers as needed.
- Conducts performance evaluations for Mobile Security Officers within the portfolio as required and in accordance with company policy.
- Ensures completion of the Mobile Department Orientation for all officers currently assigned to shifts.
- Recognizes and acknowledges exceptional performance by Mobile Security Officers through CARE awards and promotions
- Monitors staffing levels to ensure a sufficient number of trained officers are available to fulfill all contractual obligations.
- Verifies that all standing post orders and daily scheduled activities are being followed consistently by the Mobile team.
- Analyzes contract-specific business margins monthly (at minimum) to ensure the mobile portfolio remains profitable.
- Assists with negotiating client billing rates to maintain alignment with expected profit margins.
- Responds to alarms, assigns tasks to Mobile Officers, and conducts or delegates hourly check-ins as necessary.
- Performs regular security evaluations at client sites and makes appropriate recommendations to address their evolving security needs.
- Communicates key updates and outstanding issues to the Operations team and/or Mobile Officers to ensure timely resolution.
- Reviews Incident Reports for sites in the mobile portfolio and follows up with appropriate action.
- Serves as an after-hours contact for emergencies, remaining on-call as required.
- Keeps the People and Culture team and Branch Manager informed of staffing needs to minimize overtime.
- Provides regular updates to the Branch Manager on key client developments, concerns, and major incidents.
- Ensures clients and their tenants are informed about, and satisfied with, the services provided.
- Actively represents and promotes Paladin's brand and services in a professional and positive manner.
- Monitors accounts receivable within the portfolio and supports the Accounting team as needed to ensure timely payments.
- Ensures all services delivered by Mobile Officers align with client expectations, Paladin's standards, and the company's Code of Ethics.
- Responds promptly and professionally to inquiries from clients and staff.
- Regularly reviews TrackTik reports, Field Manager reports
- Updates information in WinTeam when required (bill rates, schedules, compliances, performance management)
- Performs other duties as required to support corporate or branch-level operations.
Salary: $60000- $70000/year
Requirements:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in the security industry, preferably in mobile operations
- Strong leadership and client service skills, with the ability to manage field-based teams.
- Familiarity with TrackTik, WinTeam, and scheduling/reporting systems, tech savvy
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid Security License and Class 5 Driver's License with a clean record.
- Willing to be on-call after hours and aligned with company values and standards.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Education Requirements (Any)
Bachelor's Degree
Post secondary education in law enforcement from a recognized institution or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years experience security or related field
Valid BC Security Licence or Capable of completing Valid Security Licence within first three months of employment (company paid)
Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
