Job Description:

• Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training  
• Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift 
• Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures 
• Ensures all Security Guards and Team Leaders have received the mandatory training  
• Motivates staff and issues commendations 
• Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office  
• Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints  
• Investigate alarm responses and respond in a timely manner 
• Communicates any concerns/issues with Site Supervisor/Coordinator 
• Enforce bylaw for the city
  
  

Prerequisites:

1. Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
2. Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
3. Proficient in English (both oral and written)
4. 6+ months in customer service
5. Must Have: Reliable transportation to and from site for shifts
   1. Applicants with their own vehicle will be given preference
6. Previous security experience is considered an asset
   1. Experience in Industrial or Construction Site security will be preferred
7. Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
   • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
   • Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
