Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Officer!
About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Security Guard to join our team. If you take pride in protecting people and property, we want to meet you!
Schedule & Pay
- Hourly Rate: $16 to 17/hour
- Schedule: Mornings, Evening, Overnights and Weekends
- Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol the site by foot or vehicle to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Enforce rules, control access points, and de-escalate situations with professionalism
- Respond to emergencies, including intoxication, aggression, or medical incidents
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public
- Communicate via two-way radio and write detailed reports on incidents and daily activity
Requirements
- At least 19 years of age
- First Aid & CPR Level C certification (CSA-approved provider)
- Comfortable with physical duties: standing, walking, sitting for extended periods. And working in extreme weather conditions
- English fluency (written and spoken)
- MOAB Certification — or willingness to complete company-sponsored training prior to onboarding
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
