Job Overview:

• Position: Event Security Guard
• Event: Saint Patrick's Day
• Location: Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo Campus
• Shift Date: March 14, 15, & 17, 2025
• Status: Temporary Event Guard
• Hours: 8 to 12-hour shifts
• Pay Rate: $20.25/hr.

This temporary role requires availability on March 14, 15, & 17. Job Skills / Requirements Job Description:

• Access/Crowd Control, Guards will be posted at Key Entrances/exits but may also include area patrols. 
• Guards will report suspicious activity to Supervisor/On Site Management and Special Constables.
• Guards must be okay with walking/standing for extended periods of time and able to work outside for duration of event.
• Line management & crowd control
• Customer Service 
• Emergency conflict resolution

Requirements:

• Valid Security License
• Valid First AID CPR Certificate
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to walk, stand & climb stair for longer periods of time
• Good communication skills
• This temporary role requires availability on March 14, 15, & 17
