Position: Part Time Security Guard
Site: Enbridge Gas Milton, 8015 Esquesing Line, Milton, ON L9T 5C8
Hours: Saturday & Sunday (0700 - 1900 hrs)
Pay Rate: $18.82 /hour
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement after 88 hrs

Job Description:
- Access control, property patrols, incident reporting, CCTV and fire panel monitoring, emergency response and customer service
- Maintain work flow to ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly tasks and assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner and forwarded to management
- Ensuring a safe and effective working environment by the proper use of all equipment and resources; maintain compliance with established health and safety policies and procedures
- Initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
- Standing or sitting for long periods of times
- Greet tenants, clients and the general public
- Provide helpful guidance and assistances
- Direct individuals to required destinations
- Sustain effective relationships with visitors, tenants and staff through courteous and respectful relations
Qualifications:
- Valid Security Guard license & First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- G class drivers license and a Clean Drivers Abstract from last 3 years
- Minimum 1 year security related experience preferred
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English & high level of customer service skills
- Proficiency with Windows based software and knowledge of PC based incident reporting software
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, fire equipment and fire monitoring systems
- Position requires the ability to walk/stand/climb stairs for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
