Summary of Job Description:
The Sr. Curriculum Development Specialist is responsible for curriculum development, instructional design, and education. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of innovative and effective learning programs. The Sr. Curriculum Development Specialist will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Training Managers, and other stakeholders to create engaging, learner-centered curriculum that aligns with organizational goals.
You'll get a chance to:
- Responsible for the research and development of curriculum using the ADDIE Model to determine the effectiveness of L&D training programs for both Operations and Support Center associates; assist in identifying appropriate key performance indicators (KPI) to assess individual GO and SC courses both for their content and training methodology.
- Track associates through the courses to determine the impact of training on their job performance based on KPI and career progression.
- Lead focus groups with stakeholders and PRG associates to gather data for curriculum design content. Conduct continuous research studies on new course materials and training techniques, benchmarking best practices.
- Work with Director of Curriculum Development, Subject Matter Experts, and Training Managers on updating and standardizing training materials and improving existing training content and methods based on benchmark data on best practices as well as participant feedback.
- Research and design UOP courses and learning offerings.
- Map learning curriculum to competencies for each job; support efforts to maintain and update curriculum as needed to match business needs, metrics, and learner feedback.
- Conduct training programs and facilitate group sessions as assigned.
- Work with project manager on completing external recognition and rewards applications and serve as administrator of the application process with external organizations.

Your background and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional/Curriculum Design, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or a related field.
- Experience in leading curriculum projects from concept to completion.
- Demonstrated experience working with Subject Matter Experts and cross- functional teams
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
Pay Range: P3: $90,000 - $126,500 / Annual
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

ADA Statement:
While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
