RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor for security breaches to protect Paycom personnel and property
  • Control access by verifying IDs, greeting visitors, and managing traffic during peak hours and events
  • Patrol company grounds hourly in all weather to secure buildings and perimeter
  • Operate metal detectors and handle or dispose of restricted items safely
  • Respond immediately to emergencies, ensuring safety and assisting emergency personnel
  • Maintain clear thinking and calm in high-pressure situations
  • Log all security activities, incidents, and visitor interactions in the online system
  • Carry a firearm while on duty and maintain proficiency with all issued protective gear and weapons
  • Be able to lift/drag average human body weight


Qualifications

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • CLEET Security Officer License Level IV (Oklahoma openings),Texas Online Private Security Level III (Texas openings) or AZPDS Armed Security License (Arizona openings)
  • Maintain a valid state driver's license and operate vehicles safely in compliance with all traffic laws
  • Within 90 days, learn and enforce all company safety policies, ensuring compliance across Paycom's workforce
  • Successfully meet annual Paycom Physical Security firearms qualifications
  • Complete all required training and shadowing across shifts within 90 days to prepare for independent duty

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to learn computer programs utilized by Paycom Security ie, video surveillance, office suite
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and stressful environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work at various Paycom physical locations

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

  • Previous experience in police, military or security
