Description

The Setup Packet Specialist supports the client onboarding process through reviewing the data necessary to successfully implement new clients to the Paycom Software. This team reviews vital client payroll information such as employee demographics, direct deposits, historical paycheck detail, and tax information. This team also reviews critical items submitted by internal clients for setup in Launch to verify all critical items are submitted prior to the implementation team receiving the setup information.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Review and Management:

  • Execute data reviews, within SLA commitment, based upon implementation schedule and key milestones
  • Conduct subsequent reviews throughout implementation life cycle
  • Ensure proactive communication with implementation team.
  • Assist with additional process improvement projects as needed.
  • Review all sensitive data through appropriate Paycom platforms in accordance with Paycom Security Standards.
  • Proactively anticipates client(s) needs and assesses risk.
  • Easily adapts to internal process changes and stays up to date on product developments.
  • Consistently meets internal deadlines for reports, trainings, etc.

Communication:

  • Monitors all communication channels including, but not limited to, e-mail and telephone notifications providing prompt responses.
  • Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues to establish cordial and effective working relationships.
  • Tactfully communicates critical feedback to internal customers and management.
  • Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant client problems.
  • Demonstrates initiative by constantly looking for and recommending ways to improve the NCS Specialist role.
  • Provides input for the development of department and company initiatives to support process and system improvements as needed.
  • Maintains a positive attitude with all Paycom personnel and management.
  • Adheres to all policies of Paycom, including those outlined in the Paycom Employee Handbook.
  • Communicates agendas and recaps for all meetings and trainings.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Business to business customer facing experience and/or related course work
  • Experience converting companies from one system to another is preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization and timely completion of projects.
