Description

Software Quality Engineer Intern requires researching, analyzing, designing, building, programming, verifying tests, validating tests, commissioning, and assisting deployment and technical support with automated tests. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Development, Software Quality Assurance, and DevOps teams to analyze and use quality feedback and data to improve automated testing processes.
• Create automation test plans and get approvals.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD tools and pipeline. (i.e. GitLab)
• Create, update, and maintain automated UI test.
• Create, update, and maintain automated API tests.
• Collaborate with DevOps team to extend existing test automation frameworks and tools.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and document defects.
• Work closely with engineering and Software Quality Assurance to manage and improve the development pipeline.
• Perform and write automated functional, system, regression, and integration tests.
• Utilize internal automation tools to help teams achieve complete automation
• Design and development of automated tests assigned.
• Responsible for verifying the consistency of automated testing developed.
• Responsible for coordinating and communicating automated testing changes and the effect they could have on the system.
• Work closely with Software Quality Assurance in identifying any issues that may arise on the test environments.
• Regular attendance as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Certification:

• Currently pursuing a B.S./M.S. degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Experience:

• Possess the ability to learn and understand business processes and relationship of systems and applications used to accomplish those processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

• Algorithm Analysis and Operating Systems
• Data Structures, Java, Java Script, C#

Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient, analytical, decisive, troubleshooting skills
• Ability to write clear instructions for end user
