Description

This is a role for a senior marketer with strategic, creative and analytical experience and skills in research, analytics and project management. The Senior Research Analyst reports directly to Manager of Public Relations and works closely with campaign and content creation teams within marketing. They will be responsible for creating new research initiatives, supporting marketing efforts, and providing insight for messaging and decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate internal and external research projects from ideation to execution including contracts, questionnaires, results analysis, messaging strategy and presentations.
  • Assist with strategy, storytelling, and success metrics for qualitative and quantitative research projects.
  • Understand key themes and insights within research to create action items and next steps for marketing team members
  • Collaborate with content and campaign teams to advise in content creation and campaign assets and ensure proper research usage.
  • Develop and maintain process to share data and reporting with marketing teams and across the business.
  • Monitor competitor research and marketing efforts across channels and share insights with appropriate teams.
  • Encourage the use of research results and data in decision-making across the marketing department.
  • Review external research sources for marketing use and ensure proper citation; audit use of research for quality control.
  • Evaluate vendors for external projects, maintain relationships, and evaluate value of partnerships.
  • Maintain research budget, timelines, calendar and reporting.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant job experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, business, research or related field

Experience:

  • Marketing project management or account services preferred
  • Market or marketing-related research including quantitative surveys and data analysis a plus, Marketing strategy a plus

  • Highly organized and proficient in record-keeping and process development
  • Able to think strategically and creatively, and work collaboratively with the marketing department and other internal teams
  • Demonstrate a healthy balance of creative, editorial and technical skills

  • Strong planning skills and proven experience in coordinating ideas and resources to achieve goals
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong technical aptitude in learning new software, industry terminology and Paycom specific products quickly
  • Display a dependable, strong work ethic
  • Handle other duties as assigned
