The Labor Management Logistics Clerk is responsible for generating and reviewing reporting that will be utilized to support the RDC functions. Lead labor management strategies and initiatives that will drive positive outcomes while meeting the needs of the customer. Provide visibility to key metrics results, log and file activity cards, coordinate and enter downtime for LMS reports. Gather data and conduct analysis with the intention of improving site metrics for operations. Responsible for developing and assisting implementation of labor management strategies and policies and providing guidance to managers and supervisors on labor management issues and opportunities. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. All logistics clerk positions are expected to adhere to all company policies and to lead by example; that means that all actions must be professional, safety must be a top priority, strong attendance is required, and they must ensure that everyone is treated fairly.

This exciting new role involves pioneering and establishing the foundations of the role. We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive individual with strong organizational skills to take on this challenge. Major Responsibilities:

• Log and file activity cards, answer emails

• Create downtime reports for LMS activity

• Verify time in JDA vs ADP to track all department hours

• Send out key metrics results for LMS

• Miscellaneous reporting as needed for LMS

• Maintain LMS historical data

• Produce daily, weekly and monthly productivity reports

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

• Developing and assisting implementation of labor management strategies and policies and providing guidance to managers and supervisors on labor management issues and opportunities.

• Develop and document internal and external processes.

• Assist in providing internal and external data request.

• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.

• Must be flexible to work outside of the role to assist business needs.

• Should be data driven - this is a very data forward role.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of general office experience required

• Labor Management experience strongly preferred.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Suite required

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Smartsheet software preferred

Strong communication skills required - written and verbal

• 1 year of customer service experience required

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

• AS400 experience preferred

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
