Overview of role: The HR Program Specialist administers engagement and retention programs across the associate lifecycle for both HR and for the business. Under the direction of the Senior Manager-Associate Programs, this role will be responsible for auditing, updating, and monitoring key human resources programs that have a direct impact on associate engagement, retention, and satisfaction. The role regularly interfaces with field operations leadership and the HR team to provide appropriate support, gather input and feedback, conduct training, and run reports and audits for associate programs and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative and operational support, which includes managing program materials, conducting training for leaders and HR, continuously tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key program metrics, and regularly communicating with HR leaders on program performance.
  • Analyze program metrics and company turnover, retention, and exit interview data to identify areas for continuous improvement. Make recommendations based on data analysis and feedback from operations leaders, field HR, and HR leadership team. Work with Senior Manager – Associate Programs to prioritize enhancements. Implement and communicate enhancements as appropriate.
  • Develop mechanisms for program utilization tracking and reporting, including the use of Microsoft tools and Smartsheet. Be able to connect data to program impact and recommended actions.
  • In collaboration with HR team leads, develop project plans and timelines to achieve key project outcomes within the identified timeframe. Facilitate project team meetings with cross functional HR and enterprise team members. Develop and maintain project documentation.
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, focus of study desired: human resources, change management, business, communication
  • 2 years HR experience
  • 2 years experience supporting processes and programs
  • Customer service, follow up, follow through
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office tools
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • Presentation skills
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Smartsheet management (reports, dashboards, etc.)
  • Project management experience preferred
  • 2 years program management experience
  • Experience in the logistics/supply chain industry
