    Certification Details
  • BLS, NIH required, ACLS preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips
    Job Details
  • 36 or 48 hour contract
  • Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it.
  • Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.
  • **Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6**
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
  • IV Start
  • Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion.
  • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
  • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for an 8-week contract.
  • Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
    Job Requirements
  • 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
  • Floating and Other Requirements:
  • Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters.
  • Assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.
  • If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus.
    Schedule Information
  • 36 or 48 hour contract

    Unit Specific Information
  • Advanced Care Unit
  • Typical patients are heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post -procedure patients, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose and withdrawal.
  • Nurses must be competent to run IV drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, Cardizem, etc.
  • Daily average census: 31
  • Navy Blue Scrubs
    Additional Details
  • Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer.
  • RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion.
