- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, and Telemetry - remote monitoring

- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
- May float to Med-Surg
- Accepts 1st time travelers!

- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH

- Ratios - 1:4
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No Call requirement
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- Unit Specific Information
- Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics
- Must be able to work in Telemetry setting
- Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes
- Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery
- Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
- Required Medication skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
- Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management
- Additional Details
- RTO must be on the submittal
- No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
- 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved
