Position Overview

We're seeking passionate educators for multiple full-time and part-time positions to prepare students for successful careers in diagnostic medical sonography through comprehensive classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory training. Flexible scheduling options available to accommodate clinical practitioners interested in sharing their expertise.

Schedule Options

  • Full-Time: Monday-Friday with standard daytime hours

  • Part-Time: Flexible scheduling with morning, afternoon, or evening availability

  • Hybrid teaching opportunities available for qualified candidates

Essential Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging curriculum content, including lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises that meet program objectives and industry standards

  • Provide hands-on laboratory instruction while ensuring proper safety protocols and equipment handling

  • Monitor and support student success through regular progress tracking, maintaining detailed grade records, and implementing proactive retention strategies to achieve 80% success rate

  • Collaborate with Student Services to identify and assist students needing additional support, particularly when performance falls below 77% or attendance issues arise

  • Coordinate enrichment activities including guest speakers, field trips, and clinical site visits to enhance learning experience

  • Guide students through externship experiences, providing placement assistance and ongoing support

  • Maintain accurate attendance records and provide weekly reporting to office management

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA

  • Current RDMS certification with specialty registration in Abdomen and/or OB/GYN

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography

  • Valid state licensure/certification as required by local regulations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and mentor students
