Position Summary     PMA Consultants is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to play a critical role in supporting our national growth strategy across all PMA business sectors, including capital improvement programs, transportation, energy, water infrastructure, government and public facilities, education, healthcare, hospitality, and private corporations. This role involves managing the proposal development process and ensuring the delivery of winning proposals and requires exceptional project management, communication, and coordination skills. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is essential. Our Marketing team consists of initiative takers who develop creative solutions for any challenge, support one another, and are deeply invested in PMA's success.  In this position, the successful candidate will:

    • Develop an understanding of business objectives, priorities, and marketing strategies for the effective identification and pursuit of business opportunities.
    • Support client managers in market research and analysis of opportunities, clients, projects, and competitors.
    • Partner closely with our Operations teams by consolidating and organizing reusable marketing content for efficient pursuit of upcoming opportunities.
    • Participate in go/no-go decision-making, planning, and win strategies.
    • Apply proposal management best practices in setting up and supporting proposal teams for success after RFP release.
    • Manage proposal development while maintaining consistent company branding standards; establish proposal schedules; analyze requirements; set up kick-off meetings; maintain accurate records; coordinate proposal sections, written and graphic; review content; handle production and delivery.
    • Develop presentations and assist in interview prep sessions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for proposal-related inquiries, clarifications, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate across internal teams to obtain/exchange information.
    • Develop and maintain support material (content, resumes, project sheets, images, testimonials).
    • Identify and monitor local professional organizations for relevant events, coordinating PMA's participation as appropriate.
    • Support marketing initiatives involving communication, social media, and content creation.
Position Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field required.
    • 3+ years of related proposal experience, preferably within the A/E/C (Architecture / Engineering / Construction) industry required.
    • Proficiency in coordinating, writing, editing, and finalizing proposals required.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in organizational time management skills and ability to multi-task high priorities in a team environment required.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
    • Familiarity with graphical applications such as Adobe Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator required.
    • Experience using Deltek Vision for content and proposal management is preferred.
    • Experience with federal proposal submissions is a plus.
$75,000 - $100,000 a year The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000.  A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual's scope of relevant experience and geographic location.
