Schedule Details: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and occasional weekend rotation Saturday, 8:00 am - 16:00 pm. Will be required to be able to go to all locations if needed. The primary location may be Waukesha Memorial. 

 

What You Will Do:

This position will work with the Occupational & Employee Health Department in a variety of duties. This includes working in a call center environment and a clinic environment as needed to provide coverage in the department. This will require travel to various sites including: Waukesha, Brookfield, New Berlin, Mukwonago, Sussex, Oconomowoc, and Watertown as needed. 

 

While in the call center environment the employee will:

  • Provide first point of contact with ProHealth care to patients, potential patients and employers.
  • Provide first-call resolution to patients and employers by supporting patient care delivery and management of the following processes: appointment scheduling, cancel/reschedules, provider referrals, future appointment outreach and Population Health outreach. 

 

While in the clinic environment the employee will:

  • Obtaining insurance pre-certification, and follow up with insurance companies as needed
  • Answer phone calls, voicemails, and e-mails in order to accurately assist the customers with questions
  • Facilitates efficient patient flow by:
    • Pre-appointment preparation of records.
    • Ensuring timely patient check-in
    • Assist with clerical functions including chart preparation, charging, and computer data entry


What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • ​Prior customer service experience, medical office experience, knowledge of medical terminology, experience with electronic medical records systems (prior EPIC experience), prior registration or medical billing experience​.
  • Ability to travel to clinic sites as needed.
