**Position Overview:**
The Director of Celebrations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of our celebration programming. This includes planning, organizing, and executing events that resonate with our values and mission, enhance team culture, and foster community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional creativity, strategic thinking, and strong leadership skills to inspire a dedicated team and collaborate effectively across departments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement a comprehensive celebration strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and enhances employee and community engagement.

- **Event Management:** Oversee the planning and execution of various celebrations, including corporate events, community outreach programs, holidays, and special milestones, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.

- **Team Leadership:** Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of event planners, coordinators, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

- **Budget Management:** Develop and manage budgets for all celebration initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters.

- **Vendor Relations:** Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and other partners to secure the best resources for events.

- **Innovation:** Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking innovative ideas to enhance the celebratory experience and engage audiences.

- **Feedback and Evaluation:** Collect and analyze feedback from event participants and stakeholders to evaluate the success of celebrations and make improvements.

- **Communication:** Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events through various channels, engaging both internal and external audiences.

**Qualifications:**

- 7+ years of experience in event planning, program management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from concept to execution.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Creative thinker with a passion for celebrations and experience in enhancing team culture.
- Proficiency in event management software, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
