We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities and ensure their ongoing efficiency and safety.

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and improvement of all facilities, equipment, and systems. This role involves managing a team of outside vendors and technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, developing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset, ensuring that our facilities are operationally efficient and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that supports the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage the maintenance department budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Schedule and oversee routine and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs, monitor condition, and recommend repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and safety procedures related to facility maintenance and management.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance or repair work.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation for all activities to facilitate tracking and compliance.
- Analyze maintenance data and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of safety, promoting best practices and proactive approaches to maintenance operations.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (TELS) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in facility maintenance.
