Principal, Technical Architect (Technical Advisor) Why We Have This Role
The Implementation Team at Qualtrics is the first point of contact for new clients, and the solutions we deliver set the foundation for a lasting partnership. We need a Technical Architect who can serve as a trusted advisor, understanding our clients' goals and challenges and then designing and recommending solutions. You'll be at the heart of the partnership, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and working with internal teams to drive improvements and enhancements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Figure out how to deliver real value to our customers through our product.
- Continually deepen your product knowledge and learn new technologies.
- Guide and mentor team members through problem-solving and solution design.
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to solve implementation challenges and drive Product improvements.
- Own the Technical Program: Fully design and own end-to-end product solutions and technical architecture for enterprise Experience Management programs. Partner with Engagement Managers to manage technical aspects of an implementation from beginning to end.
- Be a Technical and Product SME: You will be who our clients and internal teams look to when they can't solve a problem themselves, or they need trusted advice in considering multiple options.
- Support Sales and Product Teams: Help the sales team with large, complex deals and work with the product team to improve features.
- Mitigate Risk: Foresee and plan for technical risks and limitations within enterprise programs.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience solving business problems with software solutions
- Experience managing enterprise level projects with multiple workstreams
- Experience designing end-to-end solutions for enterprise programs that integrate software platforms with external systems or applications.
- Superb problem-solving and communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Javascript and HTML/CSS (or similar programming languages) to design custom code solutions.
- The skills needed to excel in this role are typically acquired over a 6-10 year career in technical, consulting, or client facing software/solution roles
