The position of Director Region Human Resources will be based out of our Carrollton, TX location! (Gulf Central Region)

Job Overview: The Director Region Human Resources will lead and direct the HR function for the designated region, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and strategic objectives. The role involves employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, organizational development and collaborating with talent management within the region. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the regional leadership team, providing insights and guidance on all HR matters.

 

What You'll Do

  • Implement regional HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy through the development of SMART goals and KPIs
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing concerns, or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the region attracts, hires, develops, and retains high-quality talent
  • Oversee and manage the performance management process that drives high performance and supports career development
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the region
  • Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining a strong company culture consistent with Rexel's values
  • Ensure compliance of the compensation and benefits plans for the region
  • Engage in career conversations with both managers and employees to ensure that employees receive timely and relevant skill development opportunities
  • Provide decision support through people analytics
  • Lead with local and national focus
  • Participate in appropriate regional and national meetings and attend other meetings and events
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
  • Proven working experience as a Human Resources Director or Human Resources leader
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) are advantageous

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to work within an agile and design-oriented organization
  • Knowledge of Human Resources systems and analytics
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and Human Resources best practices
