Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Worker at our South Sioux City, NE facility.  Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for the daily maintenance of Mill equipment, preventative maintenance of the Mill and general building and facility maintenance of the Mill.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Vibration Analysis for repair and preventative maintenance

  • Design, fabrication of parts to change equipment when necessary

  • Use steam trap analysis including repairs to steam related equipment

  • Responsible for working the 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm shift

  • Maintain and update all schematics after work has been completed that pertain to the Mill

  • Practice and enforce plant safety and food safety standards

  • Investigate all reports of mechanical and operational problems in the Mill

  • Communicate with management any failures found in the Mill and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, preventative and predictive maintenance

  • Strong computer, math, electrical, welding, plumbing ad pipe fitting skills

  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair and/or replace electric motors

  • Ability to perform work orders, unscheduled maintenance, and task forms with appropriate documentation, boiler water treatment, and RO monitoring

  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

  • Must be capable of lifting and stacking 50 lbs

  • Candidate should possess basic computer and problem solving skills
