Working with Richardson opens the door to a work of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Thunder Bay, ON location. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance activities, including planning, scheduling, and prioritization of work

  • Lead procurement and inventory management for maintenance materials, equipment, and spare parts

  • Maintain vendor relationships, including sourcing, pricing, and performance evaluation

  • Support preventive maintenance programs and coordinate plant shutdowns

  • Maintain accurate records within the CMMS, including asset, inventory, and maintenance data

  • Provide leadership to the maintenance team, including coaching, scheduling, and supporting HR-related activities

  • Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma or Red Seal Trade certification (dual trade considered an asset)

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance leadership or supervisory experience

  • Experience with procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination

  • Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to interpret technical documents and apply policies and collective agreements

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
