Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Loan Servicing Manager/Director to join our HomeAmerican Mortgage (HMC) team. This position oversees and manages all aspects of the Loan Servicing Department including loan servicing sales and acquisitions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements for all loan administration functions including, but not limited to mortgage insurance, hazard/flood insurance, property taxes, escrow analysis, payment processing/cashiering, default management, investor reporting, payoffs and releases, and customer support functions (account updates, credit bureau reporting, document request fulfillment, etc.).
  • Manage all aspects of bulk servicing sales including, but not limited to agreement review, agency approvals, reporting, document transfer and reconciliation of servicing sale economics.
  • Manage all internal and external loan servicing audits/examinations including providing all requested documentation, reporting and responses to interrogatories.
  • Provide researched and thoughtful responses to internal quality control findings, including root cause and mitigation implemented.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and document all processes including any changes to processes and/or supporting technology to ensure effective compliance with all federal, state, agency, and GSE requirements.
  • Continually improve the loan administration functions, directing projects and investigating and resolving gaps in functionality.
  • Fully assess new processes (UAT/Regression/Post implementation testing) to ensure the processes and technology are effective and appropriately optimized.
  • Manage team member development, productivity and effectiveness ensuring departmental training is completed as required and evaluation of team member performance is completed regularly and timely.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the mortgage industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role within loan administration
  • Proficient knowledge of federal regulations, state laws, and GSE requirements with particular emphasis on default management requirements of each agency.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to exercise prudent judgment to prioritize a complex workload with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in addition to verbal/written communication.
  • Ability to work through stressful situations professionally.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in actively participating in a team environment.
  • Experience with Fusion Servicing Director a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $125,000-$150,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
