RVCC is looking to hire a Triage Coordinator for our CBHI Department! River Valley Counseling Center, Inc#s Mission is to improve the health of all people in our community. Overview of Job Responsibilities: Process all referrals for CBHI services, including intake paperwork. Maintain the CBHI wait-list. Manage Master list of clients on the wait-list, and make assignments as needed Provide the required phone check in with all wait-listed clients and conduct follow-up check-ins until the case is assigned. Determine eligibility/medical necessity for the requested service. Obtain initial consent for the service. Update client charts to reflect new referrals for service, new staff assignments, wait-list and discharge status Provide information regarding other CBHI providers and services available for referred clients Report client information to MABHA on a monthly basis. This position is Full Time with a Flexible Hybrid Schedule Job Requirements: Education Level - Master#s Degree in mental health/human service field (MA, M.Ed., or MSW) Years of Experience - 1#2 years# Experience working with children and families is a plus, experience working with insurance verification is a plus. Skills/Abilities - Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Experience and proficiency using Google suites (sheets # docs) and Microsoft suites (excel and word) are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal and ethical issues pertaining to the profession.
