Summary

RNDC is looking for innovative and collaborative Director of Supplier Category Management to join our growing Sales team. The Director Supplier Category Management will be responsible to drive continuous improvement in Category Management Capabilities across the RNDC footprint with Suppliers. This role will design the road map for Category Capabilities Supplier Transformation and lead project development through to implementation inclusive of the training plan and performance tracking to embed all change programs successfully within the organization and across our supplier partners. Innovate and standardize processes, policies and procedures to ensure the Category Leadership Team is both efficient and effective, in such a way as to meet and exceed the company's objectives by performing the following duties. 

In this role, you will
  • Manages research to produce comprehensive insights that drive and improve sales/marketing performance, while working closely with multiple cross functional and corporate leadership teams. 
  • Assists suppliers and supplier business development team by measuring, analyzing, and reporting results within each subcategory of wine and/or spirits and further assist in the development of strategies to achieve goals. 
  • Provides category management and sales team with supplier standards including priorities, adjacencies, and price flow. 
  • Works closely with suppliers, supplier business development team, and sales management to identify market opportunities using both syndicated and internal depletion data. 
  • Recognizes product opportunities within respective categories and presents those new products to RNDC leadership teams and suppliers. 
  • Collect, manage, and analyze category insights as well as consumer/shopper research to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. 
  • Creates and presents custom presentations providing marketing insights and actionable consumer/shopper analysis to key stakeholders to assist in developing strategies to achieve goals. 
  • Responsible for supporting supplier strategic planning by delivering forward-looking analysis to increase our overall business through evaluating threats, implications, opportunities and making actionable recommendations. 

 

What you bring to RNDC

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred; six to eight years related experience, previous on and off premise (retail) sales experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel – 30-40% within the assigned states.

Compensation

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with Colorado's state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation.  The salary generally starts at $138,400.00 up to $197,800.00. The salary is an estimate based on an applicant's skills and experience.
