Summary

The Head of National Accounts Off Premise will be responsible to lead a National Accounts Retail team overseeing strategic customer/s, annual planning, and enterprise-wide implementation of RNDC and supplier's national growth aspirations. Develop and steward the strategic direction across all RNDC markets to achieve annual sales revenue and profit targets. Responsible for the leadership and professional development of a national accounts team while modeling the RNDC Leadership Standards set forth by the company, in such a way as to meet and exceed objectives by performing the following duties.

In this role, you will
  • Develop and implement comprehensive 2–3-year sales plans and strategies, focusing on feature strategies, modular planning, line reviews, forecasting, and innovation.
  • Effectively communicate business objectives across all RNDC markets to achieve annual sales revenue and profit targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Drive leadership and professional development initiatives for the national accounts team, adhering to RNDC Leadership Standards, and surpassing objectives.
  • Spearhead strategic planning and enterprise-wide implementation of supplier strategies and programs.
  • Manage and facilitate high-level communication with VP/Director level stakeholders in suppliers, state leadership, and other relevant parties.
  • Cultivate internal and external relationships to strategically influence key business strategies and collaboratively achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Category Leadership, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance, and Retail Merchandising to optimize sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Generate various business scorecard reports and conduct business reviews for the national account management team.
  • Conduct Market Visits to foster relationships, ensure customer program compliance across the RNDC footprint, and gain insights into current market conditions.
     
What you bring to RNDC
  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred; ten or more years of experience in sales management with an alcoholic beverage distributor, wholesaler, or supplier; five or more years of experience leading a mid to large scale team; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires a current state driver's license, ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements, Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state
  • Ability to occasionally work evening hours and weekends to support customer and team needs. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
