Description

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the Incident Reporting and Claims process to achieve early claim resolution and avoid litigation in a cost effective and time efficient manner for the company. In this role you will work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Loss Prevention, Safety, and other departments to ensure successful compliance and full execution of the Incident and Claims process. Responsibilities also include collecting restitution from responsible parties, claims monitoring and administration, report generation, and frequent communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers, and attorneys.

 

Hybrid Work Schedule: Remote Monday & Friday with Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday in office. 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • 3+ years of prior experience with risk management, property and general liability claims experience.
  • Must have creative problem-solving abilities and the ability to be a leader on designated projects.
  • Strong communicator and ability to effectively interact with diverse groups at all levels.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work both in a team and autonomously.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience supporting a multi-unit c-store, retail, or quick-serve restaurant is preferred.
