Title: Clinical Research Associate I

1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Clinical Research Associate I will conduct all aspects of patient screening and recruitment, obtaining informed consent, data and specimen collection tracking and follow-up in a clinical and community environment for the Data Bank and Biorepository (DBBR) at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The CRA I will assist in coordination of observational study-specific requests managed by the DBBR shared resource, that may involve regular participant re-contact, data management activities, and serial biospecimen coordination. The incumbent will also review medical records; interview patients and non-patients for study eligibility and enrollment; create and maintain accurate research records; ensure timely delivery of biospecimens to the laboratory when necessary; conduct telephone, email and mail follow-up with patients; assist with operating procedures and preparation of institutional reports when required; attend community recruitment events that may occasionally occur evenings and weekends. A flexible schedule is required for this position.

Salary range for this position is $51,305 - $65,202 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

1. Associate's degree; or
2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of clinical research, healthcare or other related experience.

NOTE: 
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have experience in clinical research or health related discipline, experience working in a patient-facing environment, experience with electronic health and/or research records, experience working with the public at large, and computer/ technical skills including MS office & data entry.
