Title: Director, Healthcare Technology Management

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Clinical Care Equipment Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Leads, promotes, and supports a comprehensive, customer-focused department that, in collaboration with Roswell Park clinical leadership, user leaders, and workforce member groups, provides capital planning, asset acquisition, delivery, and implementation, asset inventory management, OEM-designated preventive maintenance and repair, supported by CMMS, asset disposal, workforce staffing, and optimization of vendor maintenance contracts. All activities are carried out in accordance with Roswell Park's needs and requirements and in compliance with NYS Department of Health (DoH), FDA, and The Joint Commission (TJC) regulations. Manages a team of direct reports, contractors, while cooperating work with clinical stakeholders to ensure a fully compliant, safe, cost-effective, and responsive Clinical and Capital Equipment (CCE) function, while advancing Health Technology Management (HTM) competencies and capabilities as measured by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). Qualifications: Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical or business field and the equivalent of twenty (20) years of full-time experience in ten (10) or more of the following areas: database and spreadsheet development and utilization, experience in a large complex organization working effectively with a diverse group, medical related equipment management and use, inventory management, maintenance management, cost analysis and control, contract writing and negotiating, service contract management, leased equipment management, process mapping and new process development, The Joint Commission compliance, capital planning and budgeting, QA/QC processes and personnel supervision.

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
