Title: Hematopathologist - Associate, Assistant to Full Professor

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Pathology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (RPCCC) seeks to recruit an academic Hematopathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank.

The successful candidate will join the Division of Hematopathology which includes the bone marrow, cytogenetics, and flow cytometry laboratories, creating a single unified service. We provide comprehensive diagnostic reports that integrate complex information from morphological assessment, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometric analysis, cytogenetic, and molecular genetic studies.

With six faculty hematopathologists focused on oncology, our division has significant expertise across all types of hematological malignancies. Our cytogenetic and flow cytometry laboratories are internationally recognized for their expertise in clinical diagnosis and their innovations in cutting-edge technologies.

This position also provides subspecialty diagnostic services and translational research support to an outstanding and enthusiastic clinical and scientific staff. The division maintains a collaborative environment with ample opportunity for mentorship for the successful candidate.

Salary range is $258,144-$425,768 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

License and Certification Requirement
1. License or permit to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Pathology or a specialty of Anatomic Pathology, Experimental Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics, Flow Cytometry, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology or Autopsy Pathology.
Education and Experience
Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Pathology or a specialty of Anatomic Pathology, Experimental Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics and Flow Cytometry, Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, or Autopsy Pathology.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
