Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Thoracic Surgical Oncologist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
Surgical Expertise: Proficient in performing complex thoracic oncology procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, with a focus on lung, esophageal, and mediastinal tumors.
Commitment to Academic Excellence: Demonstrated experience or interest in research, teaching, and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, partnering with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Clinical Innovation: Eagerness to adopt and develop cutting-edge surgical techniques and technologies that enhance patient outcomes and position the center as a leader in thoracic oncology.

Position Specifics
Position includes clinical activity at both Roswell Park as well as the Buffalo Veteran's Affairs (VA) Medical Center, located just 6 miles from Roswell Park.

Salary range is $257,500 - $918,246 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Thoracic Surgery and Oncology.
Education and Experience
Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the specialty of Thoracic Surgery and Oncology.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
