Job Summary
Support Treasury activity by effectively managing daily cash needs, forecasting weekly cash balances, executing Money Market Fund transactions, and monitoring credit facility including quarterly debt covenant reporting. This position is located in Farmington, MI.
As the Senior Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Daily positioning of cash to determine Money Market Fund investment/liquidation or needed draw from credit facility.
- Daily bank account reconciliation.
- Developing cash forecast and projecting net cash inflows/outflows by week. Perform actual vs. forecast variance analysis and review weekly with CFO/Treasurer.
- Executing Automated Clearing House (ACH) and wire transfer transactions in banking portal.
- Analyzing and monitoring financial ratios and related attributes to ensure quarterly compliance with debt covenants as outlined in 5-year credit facility with lenders.
- Performing month-end analysis and reporting to support Accounting close and financial reporting.
- Analyzing and verifying monthly and quarterly bank fees.
- Developing bank fees and interest income/(expense) quarterly forecasts.
- Supporting annual 5-year Projections process for bank fees, interest income/(expense), and DSO/DPO.
- Conducting Lease vs. Buy analysis of equipment and provide recommendation.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 8 years of Cash Management and/or Treasury Operations experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical mindset.
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large data files.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Robust communication skills and ability to successfully work in a cross-functional work environment.
- Knowledge of private debt structures (credit facilities, working capital lines of credit, etc.) and understanding of capital markets.
A successful candidate may also have:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Experience with PeopleSoft
- Experience with 3rd Party Credit Monitoring services (Credit Risk Monitor, Dun & Bradstreet).
