Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical College located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for full-time position of Comprehensive Otolaryngologist to join the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
This position offers the opportunity to expand clinical services of this highly ranked program at the Rush main campus and regional sites within the city of Chicago. Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient-centered clinical care and be comfortable providing full-spectrum of ENT services. Subspecialty interests and training are desirable but not required. The position has the option to contribute to the education of residents and medical students. The faculty member will spend approximately 40% of time at the main campus and 60% of time at community sites. Candidates must be board certified/board eligible and be eligible for faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor level.
The selected individual will join a department of 17 full-time clinical faculty and 6 APPs spanning the entire spectrum of otolaryngology subspecialties at main campus and 6 regional sites. The department is planning to add 2 new faculty next year and 2 additional regional sites with its ongoing clinical expansion. The program is currently ranked #22 on US News and World Report and is the highest ranked program in the state of Illinois.
