Job Description :

Summary

The Advanced Application Associate is dynamic and operates within a fast-changing environment supporting the Tariff Management and Transportation Management System functions. Standard functions include: Automate tariff creation and maintenance processes by developing and implementing Alteryx workflows and macros to replace manual steps. Integrate with Blue Yonder Transportation Manager through extensive API utilization to streamline data exchange, configuration updates, and system-driven validations. Perform advanced analytics and troubleshooting to monitor, root cause, and resolve automation or integration issues, ensuring accuracy and continuity of tariff data. Identify, design, and implement new Alteryx or API-based solutions to expand automation coverage and eliminate manual touchpoints across multiple customers and systems. Collaborate with internal IT and operations teams to enhance Blue Yonder connectivity and continuously improve end-to-end automation within the Tariff Management lifecycle.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for automating Tariff creation, updates, and rate loading processes within the Blue Yonder TM environment.
  • Create/Maintain Technical items: Alteryx workflows and macros; SQL queries & scripts; PowerAutomatework flows; API connections; similar technical items.
  • Create/Maintain: Process documents and metrics to ensure all automated steps can be completed manually when necessary.
  • Act as consultant for Internal groups on Alteryx workflow capabilities and Blue Yonder API integration opportunities. Perform issue resolution and work directly with Application Analysts on automation ideas across accounts.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize Alteryx automation or Blue Yonder API functionality and provide analysis or proof of concept in how the automation would function.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Respond to ad-hoc automation and data requests submitted through the team's request intake system, providing timely and accurate solutions for stakeholders.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong technical aptitude and analytical thinking
  • Experience with one or more: Alteryx Designer/Server, Blue Yonder TM, SQL, Microsoft / Sharepoint List, Power Automate, APIs
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Able to troubleshoot, document, and improve automated workflows
  • Works independently and collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Adapts quickly and thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Communicates complex automation concepts clearly to non-technical audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, other related field or equivalent related experience.
  • Three (3) years or more previous experience working with customers or carriers preferred
  • One (1) year or more as an Application Analyst required

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
