Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Oversee day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations, including provisioning, troubleshooting, migration, and maintenance. 

  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, ensuring uptime and cost-effectiveness. 

  • Define and execute the organization's cloud strategy, driving scalability, operational efficiency, and high availability. 

  • Align cloud initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps. 

  • Oversee multi-cloud implementations supporting both public (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures. 

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelors and 9 or more years of related experience  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions. 

  • Experience administering cloud-native services and architectures (containers, microservices, serverless). 

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). 

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps frameworks (e.g., Jenkins, Kubernetes, GitLab). 

  • Experience with ITIL standards and change management

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Azure Administrator associate or Azure Network Engineer Associate Certification 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Ability to develop and implement multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies. 

  • Knowledge of agile development and DevOps methodologies. 

  • Technical expertise in cloud platforms, excellent leadership qualities, and the ability to innovate in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

  • Deep understanding of cloud security practices, networking, and cost governance within cloud environments. 

  • Strong familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog). 

  • Ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations and lead teams during critical events 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FDIC Public Trust  

  • Ability to successfully pass the SAIC Background investigation to establish a start date 

 

Desired: 

 

  • Familiarity with cloud and edge facilities within hybrid IT environments. 

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
