SAIC is looking for a highly motivated and detail orientated Compensation Analyst to join the corporate compensation team. The Compensation Analyst will administer and provide day-to-day support for executive and broad-based compensation pay programs. This position will report directly to the Manager of Compensation and will collaborate with HR and business leaders to provide analytical insights and recommendations on compensation practices, salary structures, and incentive plans.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Help implement and administer compensation policies, procedures, and programs.
· Analyze jobs and review job descriptions to determine appropriate job classification.
· Apply job evaluation and market benchmarking to establish equitable compensation rates within the organization compared to industry, taking into consideration government regulations and company policies.
· Review classification and compensation changes; make recommendations with respect to tasks to be performed and qualifications of employee.
· Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information. Gather data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
· Assist with administration of incentive and stock plans.
· Support compensation communications and events such as the annual merit and bonus cycle and stock activity.
· Participate in compensation-related projects and provide input on best practices.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and three (3) years or more of related experience.
· Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
· Ability to ensure project goals and objectives are well understood while managing stakeholder expectations.
· Show a high degree of creativity and initiative.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple data requests.
· Proficiency in use of a personal computer and current software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to perform and conduct quantitative and qualitative research.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Proficient with a variety of software, including Microsoft Office programs.
· High degree of confidentiality in the workplace
US Citizenship is required.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
