SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our team of professionals providing technical and program services to propel the organization forward in Georgia.  

 

The Data Scientist understands complex problems, develops solutions, and makes predictions based on collection and analysis which are then interpreted and communicated to assist with making informed organizational decisions. This individual will use statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns within massive amounts of structured and unstructured data, build predictive models, and develop data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will utilize their data expertise and apply leadership and analytical skills to the mission, contributing to its success.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and execute advanced data science solutions for technical evaluation and decision support.
  • Manage complex technology portfolios across multiple acquisition programs.
  • Establish and maintain sophisticated knowledge and portfolio management systems to contribute to complex system integration and architectural design processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments and feasibility studies and deliver detailed technical documentation and comprehensive reporting.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience with using data science tools.
  • Experience with Exploratory Data Analysis and Anomaly Detection.
  • Experience with Cyber and Network domain, including Host and Network data, including Netflow.
  • Experience with using Python.
  • Experience with the transition of a research capability to an operational product.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative analysis field.
  • Experience with SIGINT, CNO, or cybersecurity operations.
  • Experience with developing and deploying analytics in a CLI, Web Page, or Web Service Prototype.
  • Experience in Java development of analytics and web services, including Java build tools, such as Maven.
  • Experience with Distributed Batch and Streaming Analytics.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning for increasing the scope and sustainability of Machine Learning.
  • Knowledge of Time Series Analysis Graph.
