SAIC is seeking a highly qualified Electrical Engineer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. 

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

• Fabrication/assembly/inspection of prototype and production level military cables, harnesses, assemblies/sub-assemblies (IPC/WHMA-A-620)
• PCB soldering (IPC J-STD)
• Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) fabrication/assembly inspection/verification, and testing
• Provide or assist in providing technical solutions to engineering problems
• Research, design, development, modification, troubleshooting, and evaluation of a variety of electronic equipment, printed circuit boards, and systems using electronic principles, theories, and concepts

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree. 

Required Clearance: 

• Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret; US Citizenship required. 

Required Skills: 

• Knowledge of military-level drawings and schematics and an understanding of IPC practices
• Knowledge of electronic bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multi-meters as well as a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
