SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Federal Laboratory Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States Government customer in Chantilly, VA. SETA contractors provide analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members. In this position, you will help customer teams execute authorities associated with the agency's designation as a Federal Laboratory. Work will emphasize technology transition/transfer between the agency and industry and academia using innovative non-FAR-based acquisition capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and manage Partnerships Intermediary Agreements (PIA), Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), and Educational Partnership Agreements (EPA).
Work closely with customers to identify promising research and development (R&D) topics and use PIAs/CRADAs/EPAs to execute the envisioned R&D.
Collect, analyze, and report metrics on the R&D workflow and determine bottlenecks.
Engage in outreach activities with stakeholders in the customer's organization to identify transition partners for successfully completed R&D projects; Track technology transfers from an R&D office to operational users.
Engage and coordinate activities with other Federal Laboratory entities, as well as academia, industry, and government organizations.
Communicate technical concepts and information via written and oral communications.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI with Poly.
BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 10 years of relevant experience.
Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills.
Aptitude for on-site SETA work.
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Experience with Patents and Intellectual Property (IP) is desired.
Experience working with Confluence and JIRA desired.
