SAIC is seeking an Army Attack Aviation and Maneuver Concept Planner to join our team at Shaw AFB in South Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Coordination with all Warfighting Functions (WfF) to ensure seamless integration of Army Aviation capabilities.
- Liaison with planners from USARCENT, CFLCC, and joint/coalition forces to synchronize aviation concepts.
- Design of innovative mission solutions and aviation maneuver concepts.
- Development of detailed Concepts of Operation (CONOPs) for specific aviation missions.
- Analysis of the operational environment to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide subject matter expertise on the employment of Army Aviation platforms.
- Development and presentation of briefings, reports, and other documentation to senior leaders.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.
Qualifications:
- Retired Field Grade Officer (CW3+ or O4+) with an AH-64 pilot background.
- Recent operational experience.
- Experience with AH-64E model, variant 6.
- Aviation Mission Survivability Officer (AMSO).
- Aviation Master Gunner (AMG)
- Scout Leaders' Course (SLC).
- Joint Air Operations Command and Control Course (JAOC2C).
- Echelons Above Brigade Airspace Course (EAB).
- Joint Firepower Course (JFC).
- Air Defense Airspace Manager / Brigade Aviation Element (ADAM/BAE) Course.
- SOF UAS Leaders' Course.
- Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance.
