SAIC is seeking a Graphic Designer / Multimedia Support Specialist to work with a government customer with reach back to a team of creative individuals within the Intelligence Community. The position is located in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

In this role you will provide graphic artistry and visual communication expertise in support of training courses, briefings, publications, historical knowledge preservation, and other strategic communications requirements.

Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, maintain and present visual and multi-media products, including infographics, briefings, documents, brochures, signs, presentations, training materials, digital multimedia, templates, style guides, videos, and branding elements
  • Develop, maintain and present the Directorate overview, advocacy and training/education briefings, and materials both internal and external to the Directorate
  • Draft and review Directorate briefings to ensure a consistent message in accordance with leadership direction
  • Assist with development and presentation of multi-media presentations to include high resolution data for interactive “smart” walls
  • Assist with development of Directorate special creative projects
  • Assist with web development, and content management
  • Support efforts to improve graphic design, course usability, web site usability, and other strategic communication efforts
  • As directed, support action item tracking and responses
  • Host or facilitate Directorate level meetings and forums
  • Create and edit briefings in Microsoft PowerPoint, to include creating templates and graphics
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's and 6 years or more of related experience
    • Note: Additional years professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
    • Applicable degree(s): Communications, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Graphics Design, Multimedia, IT, or Open Source
  • Extensive knowledge of communication software to generate hardcopy, softcopy, and web products
  • Expertise with electronic publishing applications Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud applications (After Effects, Animate, Audition, Bridge, Illustrator, InDesign, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Premier Pro), and Adobe Acrobat
  • Expertise with basic print- based and web-based design principles and multimedia technologies
  • Ability to incorporate audio, video, graphics, and textual data to create presentations
  • Ability to develop 508 compliant graphics
  • Ability to participate in meetings with customers, and colleagues to exchange information, partake in decisions, and provide updates
