SAIC is seeking a Helpdesk Support Specialist to support SAIC's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) FMS Team in Huntsville, AL.
The Helpdesk Support Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Provide web application support.
- Provide systems administration support to cross-functional product development teams.
- Prepare detailed systems administration plans and level of effort estimates for meeting product roadmap release requirements.
- Detect, diagnose, isolate and correct web system operational failures.
- Support Incident and Problem Management activities with web expertise and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active Interim Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting web application issues, including browser compatibility, performance, and user access problems.
- Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- Familiarity with common web browsers and their respective developer tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize with end-users and provide clear, concise instructions and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed records of support incidents and resolutions.
