SAIC is in search for elite Human System Integration (HSI) Engineers to support a recently awarded program, Project Overmatch. Candidates will conduct integrated and comprehensive analysis, design and assessment of requirements, concepts and resources across seven domains of manpower, personnel, training, human factors engineering, habitability, survivability, and environment, occupational health and safety. Dive into the heart of defense technology, where your skills will sharpen the edge of Command and Control for the Navy Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in scenic San Diego, CA.

This position requires a minimum of a TS/SCI clearance.  

Experience with the below would make a successful candidate for this role:

  • Proficient in developing enterprise architecture with MBSE, including SysML data structures and tool integrations.
  • Skilled in managing system operations, including software, hardware, and network within Naval IME.
  • Adept at creating S&T roadmaps and aligning them with the Navy's Enterprise and Target Architecture.
  • Experienced in analyzing Acquisition Engineering documents for RDT&E program lifecycles.
  • Capable of crafting risk mitigation strategies and responses from Cyber Risk Assessments and Penetration Tests.
  • Proficient in conducting independent cybersecurity assessments.
  • Experienced with documenting cybersecurity evaluations across acquisition phases.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience: 
  • BS in physical science, engineering, or math with 24 credit hours in science/engineering subjects.
  • 5 years in government R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition.
  • 4 years of relevant HSI engineering experience in at least 2 of the areas listed in the job description
  • A minimum of a TS/SCI clearance is required
  • Proficiency in human factors engineering to optimize system design and cost.
  • Experience with test execution, evaluation, reporting, and presentation for DON laboratory system tests.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
