JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC is seeking an Integration Solutions Engineer with a strong desire to enhance technical communication and collaboration for the NRO's Integrated Systems Program Office (ISPO) with the Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) in Chantilly, VA. The ISPO is an OPIR Joint Program Office responsible for acquiring the Overhead Persistence GEOINT Architecture (OPGA) that will provide the user community with OPIR capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information.
As an Integration Solutions Engineer you will be involved with designing and implementing complex integration solutions for various software platforms and tools. To support this role, you must possess a deep understanding of integration methodologies and have a proven track record of successful integrations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
SPECIFIC TASKING:
- Develop and implement integration solutions for systems of systems including software platforms and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their integration needs and develop customized solutions.
- Assist with the design, architecture, and witness testing of the government approved integration solutions.
- Assist where possible and help guide Agile Release Trains (ART) to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with other team members.
- Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry's best practices.
- Maintain documentation for integration processes and solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and integration trends.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience or a PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
Must be a US Citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance with CI polygraph
Experience working within the IC.
Experience in software/platform tools integration or a related field.
Experience supporting major integration efforts in a high-tempo environment.
Strong knowledge of integration architectures and methodologies, demonstrated by successfully supporting seamless integration efforts across multiple component vendors.
Demonstrated proficiency in integration tools and platforms, with experience using systems comparable to those employed in developing and facilitating DevSecOps pipeline implementations.
Possesses experience in API management, microservices architecture, and cloud integration, demonstrated through capabilities developed in technical guidance roles and cloud-based DevSecOps expertise.
Working knowledge of AGILE Scrum and SAFe software development methods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team: A history of effectively leading teams and collaborating on high-stakes projects.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional team environment.
Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various SE, PM tools.
**May require overnight travel up to 2 percent of the work year.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Direct OPIR, GEOINT and/or SIGINT experience.
Direct experience supporting USAF SMC SBIRS System Program Office business operations/programs.
