All Source Intelligence Analyst with analytical and cultural knowledge of Russia, Asia, or other area of designated interest. This analyst will be immersed into a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment composed of a diverse team of analysts, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers. Via exhaustive research and networking with LE & IC counterparts, analyst will be focused on creating and/or recognizing operational opportunities. The candidate should be particularly adept at, and have a background in, data exploitation using specialized tools and datasets. The position requires strong critical thinking skills; the ability to write accurately and succinctly, to multi-task and accomplish tasks in fluid environments, and to rapidly respond to short-notice tasking. Daily responsibilities may include: Identifying trends, patterns of activity, and opportunities for in-depth analysis and action in support of threat-mitigation activities in both the cyber and real-world domains. Translation of the above into clear courses of action, delivered to supporting units via written and/or briefed products.Qualifications
Competitive candidates will have or exhibit the following: Analytical and cultural knowledge of Russia, Asia, or other areas of interest. Expert-level knowledge in classified and unclassified tools for data exploitation and presentation. Significant experience understanding and exploiting multiple sources of intelligence, including SIGINT, HUMINT, and OSINT. Proven ability to identify national security threats and opportunities for exploitation. Strong communication skills allowing for the succinct presentation of operational courses of action, based on experience working with operational units. Strong critical thinking skills, the ability to write accurately and succinctly, and the ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks with limited direct supervision, and to respond to short-notice taskings. Strong operational security practices. Bias towards initiative-driven work. High comfort level in interacting with a wide variety of government leadership and contractor personnel. Ability to operate in a diverse, evolving, and high-profile environment. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Nine (9) years of specialized analytical experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or six (6) years of specialized experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or ten (10) years of specialized operational support to strategic, tactical, and/or counterintelligence platforms. Experience with appropriate military and civilian training in the intelligence analysis field. Experience with Voltron, PROTON, and other similar IC analytic tools and databases. Experience creating written and/or briefed products demonstrating findings demonstrating accurate and succinct writing showing key findings and overview of the process used to perform collection and analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Former military Intelligence experience (35F, 35L, 35M, 14N, 1N0, 0210, 0211, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of military operations, terminology, and structure. Experience with military or other national security investigations and operations. Formal knowledge or coursework in Russian language and/or culture or other designated language/culture of interest (Defense Language Institute (DLI), university major or minor coursework) or equivalent experience. REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Minimum of active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (PR within 6 years) with the ability to obtain a polygraph. (Must be able to take/pass at-will). DESIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Recently passed polygraph.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
